MANILA – The Philippines’ Megan Young added another feather to her cap as she was chosen as one of the 10 finalists in the Miss World Top Model competition.
Organizers of the Miss World pageant recently held a fashion show to determine the finalists of the Top Model competition, with 127 contestants walking down the runway wearing pieces from Indonesian designers.
Photos from the fashion show were uploaded on the official website of Miss World, showing Young wearing a blue violet printed dress.
The other finalists came from Ukraine, South Sudan, Brazil, France, Cameroon, Cyprus, England, Italy and the United States.

The winner of the Top Model award will be selected during the Miss World 2013 coronation night on September 28.
Aside from being a Top Model finalist, Young is also one of the 11 contestants chosen to participate in the Miss World 2013 Beach Fashion finals.
She is also one of the few contestants who have been selected to perform a dance from their respective countries during the pageant’s “Dances of the World” segment.
Young, who started out as a TV host and actress, is hoping to bag the “Beauty with a Purpose” special award, which will secure her spot in the semifinals of the Miss World pageant.
