Glastonbury Festival 2014 tickets sell out
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2014 have sold out in record time, after going on sale at 9am this morning (October 6).
A batch of 15,000 coach package tickets were made available on Thursday (October 3) at 6pm - and sold out within half an hour - and the remaining 120,000 tickets were snapped up in 1 hour and 27 minutes this morning, beating last year's record of 1 hour and 40 minutes. Michael Eavis had recently revealed that over one million people have registered for tickets for next year's event.
Announcing that all tickets for next year's Worthy Farm bash had sold out, festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis posted the following note on Twitter and Facebook:

It was a frustrating morning for many festival goers as the See Tickets website crashed. However, after a "very difficult half hour", the site was back up and running and selling approximately 3,000 tickets a minute.

Earlier this year, Eavis revealed that he already has all three headliners in place for next year's event. Bookmakers have been taking odds on the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Prince and David Bowie to take the top spots. Foo Fighters are currently favourites to fill the coveted Saturday night Pyramid Stage slot, whilst rumours of a 'Definitely Maybe' 20th anniversary reunion have given Oasis odds of 10/1 to make an appearance.
